Some of my Favorite Rocks

February 24, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

One of my absolute favorite hobbies is collecting rocks, minerals, and crystals! Since I was little I was obsessed with picking them up on walks and buying them in little shops. I love the energy in them and when I hold them I feel my spirits lift. I am amazed at the beauty that comes from this earth. Here are a few of my favorites! And don’t forget to check out my crystal creations on Etsy.

@Rachel Thank you! I’m going to check out your blog too :)
@Chris No it’s a rutilated quartz, polished into a round ball. It has slivers of tourmaline inside, like the other pieces in the same picture do.

@shree Or wait, maybe you mean the ones in the middle (dark purple background) those are pieces of gypsum, more commonly called desert roses :)

One of my all time favorite stones are peridot, just that they are all really tiny. I also have a sodalite that I like.
